• What do I need?

  • Section Neckerchief (may be available from the Guide Meeting rather than the Scout Shop)

  • You also need the following, which are available at the Guide Meeting:
    • The World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts Badge (WAGGGS)
    • and The Council of Irish Associations Badge (CIGA)

General Information

• Every Guide is required to pay €2 euro subs each week.
• Every Guide is asked to bring their 'Choices' book, a copybook and pens etc every week. The copy should be kept for Guide information only.
• Every Girl is required by the association to pay registration of €33 (€31 each for sisters). No girl can attend meetings, outings, or any Guide activity if not registered.
• If a meeting is cancelled a note will be sent home the previous week in most cases.
• If a Guide cannot attend a meeting it is important that a Leader is informed.
• If a Guide does not attend a meeting for more then three weeks, it will be assumed that they have left.
• It is expected that every Girl participate in all activities planned throughout the year.
