22nd World Scout Jamboree

Raheny Guiders, Emma Curran and Yvonne Browne, attended the 22nd World Scout Jamboree
Rinkaby, Sweden from 27th July - 7th August 2011
as part of the IST (International Scout Team)

World Scout Jamboree 2011 Yvonne and Emma in India, July 2009 IST leaving Dublin Aiport Home for two/three weeks Irish IST Troop

Yvonne and Emma were members of the Irish IST Troop, known as Trom. They worked hard to share everything Irish with the people attending the Jamboree, whether they were participants, members of the International Scout Team, or day visitors. Emma was also working on the Road Safety Awareness section at the Global Development Village.

Five Guides from the Diocese of Ferns also attended the jamboree as participants. They belonged to the Beith troop, one of sixteen troops and over 800 Irish Scouts and Guides attending.
